Erica Foss is a Ph.D. Candidate in History at Boston College. She is an intellectual and cultural historian interested in national identity, and the discourses of crime and punishment. She primarily studies Britain and France in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Her interest in Doctor Who comes from her love of both science fiction and British culture.
